Shanti is an experienced freediving instructor with strong safety and rescue skills. He began his diving journey at a young age, accumulating a wealth of experience in the sea. Commencing his career as a scuba dive master in 2008 in Dahab, Egypt, Shanti transitioned to become a freediving instructor in 2013.

Shanti Freediving is an AIDA International certified freediving school that was originally established in Dahab, Egypt, and later relocated to Okinawa, Japan in 2021.
We welcome individuals of all ages and any levels, ranging from children to those in their 80s. Our inclusive approach caters to beginners who may lack confidence in the water, as well as experienced freedivers aspiring to become professionals.
Whether you are just starting your freediving journey or are already an accomplished freediver
seeking to enhance your skills, Shanti Freediving provides a supportive environment for individuals to expand their abilities and deepen their own potential.
